The adhesive bonder course includes the following content, which is taught in theory and practice:
Basics
This course aims to develop a fundamental understanding of adhesives and their properties. First, it will be explained why a bond holds and what needs to be considered. It is important to consider the various factors that influence the quality of a bond.
Adhesives
Adhesives are very diverse and come in countless forms. Therefore, it is important that participants learn what types of adhesives exist, what properties they have, and what they are used for. The practical course will further expand on the theory of adhesive types.
Surface Treatment
To correctly perform a bond, it is important to understand the different surface conditions – which adhesive requires which surface treatment? Proper surface treatment is essential for the durability of a bond. This is tested on various materials, and the use of primers is specifically addressed.
Testing Technique
In the practical part of the adhesive practitioner training, various bonded joints are produced and tested. The theoretical content is reinforced through the evaluation and documentation of the results achieved.
Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection
An important aspect of continuing education is compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection. Participants should develop an awareness of how to recognize and avoid potential hazards.
The adhesive bonding practitioner course lasts one week (Monday to Friday). The theoretical course content is taught in the mornings at our training center in Mühlhausen. Following this, there is a daily practical session in which participants can apply what they have learned in the morning in practice and thus deepen their understanding. With a minimum of 16 participants, the course can also be held conveniently at your premises. During the course week, you will be accommodated in a nearby hotel (not included in the price). Meals during the course are provided by Innotech. At the end of the course week, there will be a written, practical, and oral examination, which is recognized according to DIN 2304, DIN 6701, and TL A-0023.
