Successful project between Dow and Innotech: Dowsil 993TM in the 8:1 double cartridge.
A success story that shows how solution-oriented Innotech Marketing und Konfektion Rot GmbH works together with adhesive manufacturers to improve adhesive processing.
Previously, this adhesive for repair applications was only available in tubular cartridges - these had to be mixed by hand using a stirring stand and drill. This has no longer been the case since last year.
Thanks to our expertise in bonding and sealing and our knowledge of an existing 8:1 cartridge system, we were able to work with DOW Silicones to develop a solution that not only saves customers time, but also ensures safe mixing and minimal material loss thanks to static mixers.
Innotech worked with Meritool LLC (USA) to develop exclusive battery-powered guns that could process these 8:1 cartridges and, in parallel, with medmix AG (England) to develop the compressed air version.
