Manual cartridge presses
The classic choice for simple, occasional applications. Our manual cartridge guns are cost-effective, easy to handle, and do not require electricity or air supply. Cost-effectiveness calculation - When is which device worth it?
In the economic efficiency calculation, the extrusion rate of different cartridge presses is compared with each other. The extrusion rate is the amount extruded per unit of time. We calculated the time factor in this example as 60€/h.
These costs are now added to the purchase price of the respective device. In Figure 1, it is clearly visible from how many cartridges pressed the investment in the respective device pays off, but also how much additional cost can arise from purchasing a cheap cartridge press. Durability is not considered here.
For the cartridge guns we recommend, sustainability is always an important factor. Some pneumatic and battery-powered cartridge guns can be repaired without any problems and sometimes very cheaply. To determine whether a repair is possible, the individual records of the devices must be consulted. Hand presses, on the other hand, are not repaired in most cases, which then generates additional waste and, of course, costs.
