The "perfect" hand application of sealants and adhesives is based on the knowledge of many people along the supply chain of a glued product. "Perfect" in this context usually means optimum quality at minimum cost. As with automated solutions, the human/technology interface is of central importance. Why? People with comprehensive sealing and bonding knowledge, but the wrong application systems, will be just as ineffective as unknowledgeable people with top technology.
