In a time when the urgency of climate change is becoming increasingly obvious, transparency is of utmost importance. In this spirit, we are pleased to publish our #corporatecarbonfootprint certificate. But this is just the beginning.
Our commitment goes beyond disclosure. We have set ourselves an ambitious goal: By the end of next year, we will have halved our result. This means that we are aiming for a drastic reduction in our carbon emissions.
But we are not resting on this goal. In addition to reducing our own emissions, we also focus on offsetting measures. We are working with Plant-for-the-Planet to offset our remaining emissions. This partnership means that we not only neutralize our direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions but also actively contribute to reforestation and the protection of our planet.

Innotech intensifies its regional social commitment in the municipality of Mühlhausen.
Air purification systems worth a total of €11,000 were donated by Innotech to the municipality of Mühlhausen.
The company Innotech, based in Mühlhausen-Rettigheim, was recently awarded the German SME Award and the Federal Honor Plaque, among other things, for its outstanding social commitment, networking efforts, modern communication, and sustainable business practices. Accordingly, the company placed particular importance on intensifying its regional commitment. Several weeks ago, Innotech already donated 6 air purification systems to the Mühlhausen kindergarten. Now, Managing Director Anja Gaber and Owner and CEO Joachim Rapp, together with Sales & Marketing Manager Denise Horn, handed over another 4 devices to the management of the Arche Children's House in Rettigheim, Kornelia Fischer and her deputy Laura Uhrich.
The mayor of the municipality of Mühlhausen, Jens Spanberger, also came by in person to receive the generous donation on behalf of the municipality and to personally thank for the commitment shown.
The air purification devices of the SteriWhite Air brand help, especially during the cold season, to reduce the burden of influenza and corona viruses, bacteria, and mold spores in the air, in the form of safe, chemical-free air disinfection without ozone formation. In addition, the devices are particularly quiet, do not require filters, and are therefore low-maintenance. "We are pleased to be able to contribute in this way, as our main concern is the health of our children," adds CEO and owner Joachim Rapp.
Tree donation for Christmas 2023
This year, we are once again donating trees instead of sending Christmas gifts, because our environment also deserves to be given something. As every year, we are donating 1,200 trees for Christmas, which will be planted on the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico through the organization Plant-for-the-Planet.
We have also donated another 50 trees for each flight of an Innotech team member. That makes a total of 3,550 trees this year, including the Christmas donation.
All trees are planted through Plant-for-the-Planet.
Donation of air purification devices to the Mühlhausen kindergarten
We are intensifying our regional social commitment before the start of winter by providing air disinfection systems.
For this, we donated 6 devices worth €4,600 to the Mühlhausen kindergarten. Here in the picture, you can see our employee Dominique Christ handing over the devices. Further donations for facilities in the region are already planned.
Innotech is participating in the Heidelberg Charity Regatta 2023.
On September 9, 2023, Heidelberg will be all about solidarity and the fight against cancer. At the charity regatta "Rowing Against Cancer," patients, doctors, nursing staff, experienced rowers, and novice rowers come together. Together, they are making a strong statement against cancer and showing their great commitment!
The Innotech team is looking forward to being part of this inspiring event. The charity regatta also offers a wonderful team-building opportunity: Our employees can strengthen their collaboration, pursue a common goal, and foster team spirit.

Support for TSV Rettigheim 1902 E.V.
TSV Rettigheim 1902 E.V. is launching a big charity event in June, and since regional support is important to us, we will also make our contribution. The KSC Allstars team will be our guests that day, playing against a selection of coaches from TSV Rettigheim. The donations will go to the Sterntaler Children's Hospice Association in Mannheim.
Annual tree donation through Plant-for-the-Planet
As part of our corporate philosophy and our commitment to a more sustainable future, we have trees planted every Christmas through the organization Plant-for-the-Planet. Instead of traditional customer gifts, we decided to use the budget for a large-scale tree donation.
Plant-for-the-Planet is an internationally recognized organization dedicated to reforesting and committed to environmental protection. As part of this initiative, millions of trees are planted in various parts of the world to combat the negative impacts of deforestation, climate change, and pollution. We are proud that with our annual donations, we can make a positive contribution to the preservation of our environment to create a sustainable habitat for future generations.
We are proud that in recent years, through our tree donation campaign, we have made a contribution and taken a step closer to the goal of becoming climate-neutral. The positive feedback from our customers, partners, and employees has further encouraged us to continue the annual donation and achieve even greater goals. Our donated trees support the Yucatán reforestation in Mexico. On the Plant-for-the-Planet website, you can track our progress.
In previous years, we also had trees planted and have now reached a total of 8,132 planted trees. At Christmas 2022, we planted 3,200 trees instead of 1,200 for the first time. At the beginning of 2023, we had another 3,200 trees planted to offset our business flights. Our goal of planting 25,000 trees could be reached sooner than expected.
Tree donation campaign in 2021: One donated tree for every order
Until December 31, 2021, Innotech donated a tree for every order for various projects that were planted with Plant for the Planet. During this period, a total of 3,522 trees were donated and planted on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
Tree donation for the flood area
Through tree donations, Innotech Marketing und Konfektion Rot GmbH contributes to climate protection and deploys employees for planting on-site.
After the severe storm disaster in Central Germany, Innotech Marketing and Konfektion Rot GmbH did not remain idle and donated 1,000 trees for the Eifel with PLANT-MY-TREE®. This not only helps the region combat climate change by binding CO2, but the forests also protect the communities from larger volumes of water and thus from further flooding. To also lend a hand on-site and protect future generations from similar floods, the employees of Innotech will travel together to the Eifel to personally plant some of the trees.
Donation of disinfectant to the elementary school in Bad Mingolsheim
A donation of 40 cartons containing a total of 240 bottles of disinfectant was made to the elementary school in Bad Mingolsheim.

Social mobile in the region
Innotech is a sponsor of a social mobile unit in the region where clubs and social associations are active.
Formula Student Racing Team
Innotech has been supporting the Formula Student HHN Racing Team of Heilbronn University since 2018 with a monetary contribution, as well as practical support in bonding, along with adhesives that we "squeeze out" from our partners in the adhesive industry.
Fire Department Mühlhausen
The volunteer fire department of Mühlhausen is receiving support from Innotech in the form of T-shirts, on the back of which our logo can also be seen as a thank you.
World Vision sponsorship on-site in Africa
Innotech has been supporting World Vision through child sponsorships on-site in Tanzania for many years, just like the company's founder. So that people in Africa have a chance.
If only every company in Germany took on a sponsorship, the suffering and migration would be significantly less than it is now.
German Red Cross
Innotech has been supporting the German Red Cross with a membership fee since the beginning of its activities in Bad Schönborn.
The DRK also receives further support by giving every employee who goes to donate blood paid time off.
Hubert-Sternberg School and the Innotech Award
True to the motto "Bonding for Life" - an initiative by the Adhesives Industry Association, Innotech has a partner school, TG Wiesloch - the Hubert Sternberg School. Here, we teach on a voluntary basis upon request how to glue properly, and we annually sponsor the Innotech Award for the best achievements in the final exam for the subject of English.
